UnITARIAN UNIVERSALIST FELLOWSHIP of NORTHERN WESTCHESTER

Welcome to UUFNW

We are a religious community without dogma or creed, where questions are welcomed and answers are diverse.
We believe it is more important to be together in relationship than to agree – even on fundamental theological questions.
We ground our faith in love, justice, freedom and responsibility. We invite all to worship, learn and celebrate with us, regardless of the many things that divide us in our world.
Whether you are a long time member or making your first visit, we’d love to see you here.

Mothers Behind Bars: Criminal Justice Reform
This Mother's Day, let us consider the mothers in prison, far from their children and homes. A mother's love should be felt for all families regardless of conviction. Let us reflect on reforms and connections we can make in our communities so incarcerated mothers and their families can have better lives.

This Sunday, we are grateful to have a guest from the Interfaith Prison Partnership, Kamelita Mathura. Kamelita is a proud mother of two and a woman who has overcome many challenges. She served seven years of incarceration, and during that time, she was able to earn my degree and begin the journey of transforming my life. Today, she uses her story to inspire others and show that no matter where you start, change is possible. She will share her story as part of our service.

Please note: For this Sunday, Erol DeLos Santos will be leading worship and reading Rev. Emily DeTar Birt's sermon on her behalf.
