Last year, after some five years of the old style, we changed our Fellowship website. This wasn't done just to look different but because we wanted to introduce some new features.

Here are some of the new features:

• Members-only pages. Before, we had to be careful (we still do) what kind of information we put on our website. With the new format, we can make some pages only accessible to people we know: our members and friends. The only drawback is that people who use these pages will need to sign in and give a password. But it only needs to be done once. And to anyone who is not authorized, there is no clue that a "members only" section even exists.
• New calendar summary. In addition to our full Fellowship calendar, there is now a "summary" calendar of the next week or two.
• Group-editable web pages. Most of our web pages can be changed by anyone who wishes to take on that responsibility — not just one or two "webmasters." If you're interested, send me a note.
• Mailing List Access. Our master list of names and addresses is moving from a computer in the Fellowship office to a central "server." This means that the people who keep this information up to date can do so from home. AND... you can update your own information. So when you get a new cell phone or change your e-mail address, you can change it in the Fellowship database yourself.
