Membership Center

One of the most active committees in the Fellowship is the Membership Center. We are responsible for many aspects of congregational life. Watch for us — we’re in a lot of places:

• You see us when you are greeted by someone as you come in on Sunday mornings, or when you pick up your name tag.

• You may not see us when we are making sure that someone provides hospitality after the service.

• You’ve benefited from our work when you look up someone’s phone number in the directory.

• We provide help and comfort to people who need it, such as anyone who recently had deaths or births in their family (Do you know of someone who needs us? Please let us know!).

• We help visitors and new members learn more about our Fellowship and our faith by organizing casual gatherings after the service and more formal dinners in members’ homes (Look for announcements in the fall!).

How do we do all this? Simple – we have great people on our Center! Why do we do it? We enjoy helping visitors and members alike feel welcome at the UUFNW. Plus, it’s an easy way to help the Fellowship and get to know folks as well.
